Tyrese Maxey will add extra heat to NBA All-Star Weekend by competing in the 2026 Three-Point Contest, becoming the first member of the Philadelphia 76ers to participate in the event since Kyle Korver.

Maxey joins a loaded field that includes elite perimeter scorers from around the league, giving Philadelphia fans another reason to tune in during All-Star Saturday night.

The 23-year-old guard is shooting just over 38 percent from beyond the arc this season while attempting nearly nine threes per game, showcasing the expanded range and confidence that have become staples of his offensive game.

While Maxey’s shooting has had its ups and downs, his quick release and ability to get hot in a hurry make him a legitimate dark-horse contender. If he finds a rhythm, Maxey could make history and bring some long-awaited three-point bragging rights back to Philly.
