Oh, Sheetz!

First, the Western PA based convenience store announced plans to build a location in previously off limits Montco (NOTE: it opened today). Now, Sheetz is bringing the battle to Wawa’s front door!

According to Delco Today, the Altoona based chain has submitted plans for a store in Chadds Ford, less than 10-miles from Wawa’s HQ. The project still faces zoning issues and isn’t a done deal.

I guess we’re really throwing the decades long gentlemen’s agreement not to encroach on each other’s territory right out the window!

Wawa isn’t innocent, they’re planning on building Wawa’s in Happy Valley and further out west.

Meanwhile,Buc-ee’s is waiting in the back to attack with a steel chair.
