Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens spent part of the offseason in Medellín, Colombia, for what he described as a “health reset week” as he works to fully recover from a tough 2025 campaign.
Jurgens, who battled back issues throughout last season after undergoing surgery following the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory, shared footage on Instagram from the trip. In the video, he showed himself preparing for a series of treatments, including an injection of around 70 million stem cells along with cryotherapy, ozone therapy and more traditional physical therapy sessions. The goal was to address lingering pain and help him get his body right ahead of the 2026 season.
The treatments came via BioXcellerator, a clinic that offers alternative regenerative therapies. Because many stem-cell procedures are currently restricted under U.S. regulations, Jurgens and others travel abroad for these experimental options.
Despite the injury setbacks, Jurgens still earned Pro Bowl honors in 2025 and is under a four-year, $68 million contract signed last spring.
He’s expected to rejoin the team fully healthy and ready to compete for the starting center job heading into the new season.
