Philadelphia: When things are working and you’re trying to get things turned around, that is what the Philadelphia Wings are doing as they have been going through a lot of things, especially finding what works on offense. On Friday night, they attempt to get back in the Win column as they take on the Georgia Swarm from Xfinity Mobile Arena in South Philly.

How the game went:
Georgia would jump all over the wings for a 2-0 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. The play of the game came from the Philadelphia Wings’ Sam LeClair with an amazing goal while in the air which cut the Georgia lead to 2 at 4-2 in 2nd quarter

The Wings would be down 5-3 at halftime. The struggles by the Wings would keep showing up, especially in the 2nd half, as Georgia would jump all over them, including this goal that made it 9-5.

Could the Wings figure it out to get back in the game? The answer would be NO, as Georgia would walk out with the 11-6 win & once the final horn sounded, there was a good amount of Booo from the crowd at Xfinity Mobile Arena. This would be the first time this season that the Philadelphia Wings would outshoot their opponent, as the Wings had 47 shots while the Georgia Swarm had 44.

You could see the frustration on the Wings players’ faces as they know they can get things working, but just aren’t finding the right pieces to put together a full 60-minute effort.

Postgame:
Philadelphia Wings captain Chris Corbeil

What can Wings captain Chris Corbeil do to keep the team together based on how they are playing

For those wondering, the Wings’ Head Coach did not speak after the game, as these same two teams will play again tomorrow night in Georgia.
