Philadelphia, PA: It has been a rough couple of weeks for the Temple Owls as they are on a 6-game losing streak and looking like they would be on the outside in making the conference tournament & needed to get things fixed as they went to battle with Tulane Green Wave on Thursday night from The Liacouras Center.

How the game went:
The Owls would get the scoring started & then Tulane responded to keep things close & there would be a couple of times that both teams would trade baskets. The Owls would get things figured out and start to take off as they built a 12-point lead, 40-28.

Temple would take a 40-32 lead into halftime & this has been one of the best halves of basketball that the Owls have looked during the 6-game losing streak.

The Owls would pick up where they left off and open the 2nd half on an 8-0 run, and Tulane had no idea what hit them.

At one point, the Owls would have a lead of 34 at 85-51 with 5:12 left. As the final seconds wound down, Temple Coach Adam Fisher was very fired up on the sidelines from the effort that his team showed in wanting to end the losing streak & send the fans home, as this was their final home game of the season. The Owls would soar over Tulane 89-60.

With the win, Temple is now 16-14 & 8-9 in conference play & will end the regular season on the road on Sunday at Tulsa before heading to the American Conference tournament in Birmingham, Alabama.
