Special teams is getting paid.
On Thursday, the Eagles agreed to a long-term extension with punter Braden Mann.
Mann was one of the top punters in the league last season, but it is surprising to see Howie Roseman commit this much to a punter given how Jake Elliott’s contract has been looking in recent years.
The deal will keep Mann under team control through the 2029 season.
The $3.5 million AAV is tied for fifth among punters in the league, matching what Ryan Wright got just days ago.
