Just what the Eagles needed – a cornerback.

On Thursday, the Birds agreed to terms with another corner in veteran Jonathan Jones.

Jones is unlikely to factor into the comp pick formula.

No moves yet on the DL or at starting tight end, but the Eagles have now retained Michael Carter II and added Riq Woolen at the corner spot.

Jones is a 10-year vet who spent nine seasons in New England, six as a backup and his final three as a starter.

He spent one season (last year) in Washington DC.

Now, he’ll compete for a spot in a deep cornerback room in Philadelphia as the oldest corner currently signed to the roster for next season.
