The Philadelphia Eagles and tight end Dallas Goedert have once again agreed to push back the void deadline on his contract, giving both sides additional time to negotiate a potential extension. According to reports, the deadline has now moved from March 13 to March 16.

The move signals that neither side is ready to walk away from negotiations just yet. If Goedert’s deal were to void, the Eagles would face significant cap implications for the 2026 season.

Goedert, who caught 60 passes for 591 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2025, remains one of quarterback Jalen Hurts’ most trusted targets.

The Eagles currently have Grant Calcaterra and Johnny Mundt on the tight end depth chart, but neither projects as a clear TE1 replacement.

By pushing the deadline again, the Eagles are buying time to work through cap considerations while attempting to keep a key piece of their offense in Philadelphia.
