The Philadelphia Phillies will hand the ball to left-hander Cristopher Sánchez on Opening Day, according to MLB.

Sánchez turned in a strong season for the Phillies in 2025. The lefty posted a 3.32 ERA over 165 innings, while striking out 158 batters and with a solid 1.23 WHIP.
