The Philadelphia Phillies have removed “Harry the K’s” signage from Citizens Bank Park, rebranding the longtime ballpark staple as the “Ghost Energy Deck” as part of a new sponsorship deal.
The popular left-field gathering area had honored legendary broadcaster Harry Kalas since the stadium opened in 2004. While the physical space remains, the name change reflects the organization’s continued push toward corporate partnerships and premium fan experiences.
Despite the update, the Phillies have maintained several tributes to Kalas, including his statue at the ballpark and the continued use of his iconic “High Hopes” celebration after wins.
The move has drawn mixed reactions from fans, many of whom view the change as another example of tradition being replaced by revenue-driven branding.
