The Philadelphia Phillies have officially finalized their 2026 Opening Day roster, locking in a mix of star power, veteran stability, and emerging young talent ahead of Thursday’s opener against the Texas Rangers.

As expected, the core remains intact with Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, Alec Bohm, and Kyle Schwarber anchoring the lineup. Behind the plate, J.T. Realmuto retains his role as the everyday catcher, while Rafael Marchán secures the backup job, leaving Garrett Stubbs off the roster in a notable decision.

One of the biggest developments is the inclusion of top prospect Justin Crawford, who earns a spot in the outfield alongside Brandon Marsh and Adolis García, signaling a youth movement in center field.

On the mound, Cristopher Sánchez will get the Opening Day start, backed by a rotation that includes Aaron Nola, Jesús Luzardo, Andrew Painter, and Taijuan Walker.

The bullpen will include stalwarts Jhoan Duran, Jose Alvarado, and Tanner Banks. New faces include Brad Keller, Jonathan Bowlan, Zach Pop, and Tim Mayza.

A few notable contributors will begin the season on the injured list including Zack Wheeler and Orion Kerkering.
