The Eagles add another low-budget shot at outside linebacker.
On Monday, the team officially announced the addition of Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.
Tryon-Shoyinka was a first-round pick of the Bucs in 2021.
He played the four seasons on his rookie deal in Tampa, making 45 starts and appearing in 66 games.
Over that time, he had 138 tackles, 15 sacks, eight defensed passes, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.
He spent last season as a under-utilized pass rusher in Cleveland before being traded to the Bears at the deadline.
The Eagles are likely looking at him as a pass-rushing specialist, though Vic Fangio could have other plans for him.
It was also revealed, through his agency, that Chandler Martin is headed to Philadelphia.
Martin was an undrafted free agent last offseason and spent 2025 with the Ravens.
He appeared in three games as a special teams player, but did not play on defense.
Martin could be a good player for the Birds as he turned a lot of heads in college and with the Ravens with impressive coverage skills and instincts, but his season was cut short with an ACL injury – his second major injury in the last few years.
