Philadelphia Flyers winger Matvei Michkov has been fined by the NHL for embellishment. The standard Sydney Crosby embellishment happened against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The $2,000 fine was issued under the league’s automatic discipline system for repeat embellishment infractions. No suspension was handed down.

Through the 2025-26 campaign, Michkov has recorded 17 goals and 26 assists for 43 points in 76 games, along with a -6 rating. He’s tallied four points in the last five games.
