The Philadelphia Flyers continue to build out their prospect pipeline, signing 2024 second-round pick Jack Berglund to a three-year entry-level contract.

The deal will begin in the 2026-27 season, but Berglund is expected to join the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the remainder of the current campaign, giving the organization an early look at one of its more intriguing forward prospects.

At 6-foot-4, Berglund brings a blend of size and skill down the middle. The 20-year-old spent the 2025-26 season with Färjestad BK in the Swedish Hockey League, tallying 12 points (7G, 5A) in 40 games while competing against professionals.

His biggest impact came internationally, where he captained Sweden to gold at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship, recording 10 points in seven games.

With a clear focus on strengthening depth at center, Berglund adds another high-upside piece to the Flyers’ continuing rebuild.
