It looks like the receiver room has gotten another lock.

On Friday, the Eagles agreed to a deal with the Packers to acquire Dontayvion Wicks from the Packers.

The Eagles will send two late-round picks (a fifth this year and a sixth next) to Green Bay in the deal.

As part of the deal, Wicks will also be signing a $12.5 million contract extension, per Adam Schefter.

Wicks is on the last year of his rookie deal, so that extension gives the Eagles two years of Wicks. His current cap hit for this season is under $4 million.

In three seasons with the Packers, he’s recorded 1,328 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Those stats certainly don’t appear to be worth a $12.5 million extension over one year, so it’ll be interesting how those that extension will actually be structured.

The deal will also add fire to the flames as AJ Brown trade rumors swirl (though have temporarily stopped due to their main source being indisposed).

Now the team is set to have AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Wicks on multi-year deals as well as the offseason additions of notable free agents Hollywood Brown and Elijah Moore.
