NFL insider Mike Garafolo poured fuel on the offseason rumor mill this week, linking the Philadelphia Eagles to star pass rusher Maxx Crosby if the Las Vegas Raiders decide to explore a trade.
Appearing on The Anthony Gargano Show, Little Cuz didn’t hesitate when asked whether Philadelphia would be a serious player for Crosby:
“Big time … I would put the Eagles in the top three, five, whatever [teams] for Maxx Crosby if and when this thing opens up — and I do believe it’s going to open up.”
While there’s no indication a deal is imminent, Garafolo’s comments suggest league insiders believe Crosby’s situation could evolve as the offseason unfolds. If that happens, Philadelphia is widely viewed as one of the most logical landing spots.
The Eagles enter the spring with draft capital, financial flexibility, and a clear need for elite edge help after an inconsistent pass rush in 2025. Crosby, one of the NFL’s most relentless defenders, would immediately elevate Vic Fangio’s front and give Philadelphia a true gamechanger off the edge.
For now, it’s speculation but Garafolo’s insight makes one thing clear: if Crosby becomes available, expect the Eagles to be firmly in the conversation.
