The Philadelphia Phillies are set to receive a boost in their bullpen as right-hander Orion Kerkering is expected to rejoin the club in San Francisco. Kerkering, who missed most of Spring Training with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, has completed a successful rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Across four appearances, Kerkering allowed just one run on three hits over four innings while striking out five. More importantly, he displayed strong command of his pitch repertoire, a promising sign as he prepares to return to the big league.
