The Philadelphia Eagles may be inching closer to bringing back one of the most beloved uniforms in franchise history.
In a recent social media post, the Eagles teased the possibility of a white version of their iconic Kelly Green uniform, featuring former quarterback Ron Jaworski wearing a similar road look from the franchise’s past. The post immediately sparked excitement among fans, many of whom have been lobbying for the return of the white Kelly Green jerseys for years.

Earlier this offseason, both Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley publicly voiced their support for bringing the uniform back. Several current players have echoed those sentiments, while fans have consistently pushed for additional Kelly Green combinations.
The Eagles officially reintroduced their classic Kelly Green uniforms as part of the NFL’s alternate uniform program in 2023 after league rule changes allowed teams to use a second helmet shell, ending the long-standing one-helmet restriction that had prevented an authentic throwback return.
The NFL has since expanded uniform flexibility even further, allowing teams to wear alternate or throwback uniforms up to four times per season beginning in 2025.
Whether the Eagles are simply having some fun on social media or laying the groundwork for a future uniform reveal remains to be seen. One thing is for sure: the demand for a white Kelly Green jersey has never been higher.
