The Philadelphia 76ers delivered one of their most surprising performances of the postseason defeating the Boston Celtics 111-97, evening the series behind a historic breakout from rookie VJ Edgecombe.

The rookie became the first in NBA playoff history to post at least five three-pointers and 10 rebounds in a single game. He also joined elite company by recording a 30-point double-double, something not accomplished by a rookie in the playoffs since Derrick Rose in 2009. Even more impressively, Edgecombe is now on a list with Tim Duncan as one of the only rookies ever to tally 30 points and 10 rebounds in a postseason game.

With momentum now (kinda) shifting, the Sixers suddenly look like a team capable of making this a real series.
