The Philadelphia Flyers saw their playoff run come to an end Saturday night after a 3-2 overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Second Round. Jackson Blake scored the game-winner 5:28 into overtime as Carolina completed the four-game sweep.

Tyson Foerster and Alex Bump scored for Philadelphia, while Dan Vladar made 37 saves in a strong effort. Logan Stankoven also scored for Carolina, which improved to 8-0 this postseason. 

Despite the sweep, the Flyers exceeded expectations throughout the 2025-26 season and playoff run, giving fans hope for the future under head coach Rick Tocchet. Carolina now advances to the Eastern Conference Final.
