The transformation has officially begun at Lincoln Financial Field.
Gone are many of the familiar Philadelphia Eagles graphics and banners around The Linc, as the stadium is now being dressed in official 2026 FIFA World Cup livery ahead of this summer’s tournament. While the stadium may look different for the next several weeks, one beloved Philadelphia staple remains untouched: the iconic Philly Special statue is still standing proudly outside the stadium.
Philadelphia is set to host six matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including a massive Round of 16 knockout match on July 4th.
The full Philadelphia schedule includes:
- Sunday, June 14: Côte d’Ivoire vs. Ecuador — 7:00 PM ET
- Friday, June 19: Brazil vs. Haiti — 9:00 PM ET
- Monday, June 22: France vs. Iraq — 5:00 PM ET
- Thursday, June 25: Curaçao vs. Côte d’Ivoire — 4:00 PM ET
- Saturday, June 27: Croatia vs. Ghana — 5:00 PM ET
- Saturday, July 4: Round of 16 Match — 5:00 PM ET
Additionally, the Philadelphia Phillies will be out of town during that stretch, allowing the South Philadelphia Sports Complex to fully accommodate World Cup operations and fan activity.
