The Philadelphia Eagles have completed a trade, sending star wide receiver AJ Brown to the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick. The deal is pending a physical.

The move ends one of the most productive wide receiver runs in franchise history and gives Philadelphia additional future draft capital moving forward.

Brown appeared in 51 regular season games with the Eagles, totaling 339 receptions for 5,034 yards and 32 touchdowns while earning multiple All-Pro selections. In the postseason, Brown added 28 receptions for 334 yards and three touchdowns across 8 playoff games. He also played a major role during Philadelphia’s Super Bowl appearances, posting six catches for 96 yards and a touchdown in Super Bowl LVII and adding three receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown in Super Bowl LIX.

The Birds will now turn the page under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion and an offense expected to feature DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown, and rookie Makai Lemon at wide receiver.
