Jalen Hurts Becomes First 2026 Eagles Player To Appear On NFL Top 100 List

While former Eagle AJ Brown was the first 2025 Eagles player to appear on the NFL Top 100 list at 80, it is the signal caller that becomes the first for the 2026 squad.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that Jalen Hurts came in as the 56th best player in the league this offseason.

After a year with a blatantly putrid offense behind a struggling offensive line and an offensive coordinator that had no reason to have such a job on any team in college let alone the NFL, Hurts dropped 37 spots from last year.

It’s the fourth straight year he’s been named to the list, though all of them have been lower ratings. He started at 3 in 2023, dropped to 13, then 19 and now 56.

It’s unknown how much AJ Brown’s (who dropped over 50 spots himself) quitting on plays affected the offense and this ranking, but the Eagles hope to see positive offensive growth with a hungry group of receivers and an offensive coordinator who is hyped around the league instead of a laughing stock internal promotion again.

Hurts’ position on the top 100 puts him above Lamar Jackson, Trevor Lawrence, Baker Mayfield, Bo Nix, Jordan Love, Bryce Young, and Brock Purdy on the players’ rankings.
