Acquiring Jonathan Greenard from the Vikings was one of the marquee moves for Philadelphia this offseason.
It isn’t starting off too well, however, as Greenard is being placed on the PUP list on the day of the first team practices this summer.
Eagles Pro Bowl LB Jonathan Greenard is being placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list due to a pectoral injury he recently suffered.

The injury is reportedly a pectoral strain suffered during lifting weights.
There as been no reports of the timeline to return yet, but the sounds of it make it seem like it should be a shorter-term injury.
That would mean he should likely be ready for game action week one, but he will lose valuable practice time – something that could factor into his performance given he is moving into a new defense this year.
