Phillies Still Linked to Jo Adell, Zach Neto as Trade Deadline Approaches

With the MLB trade deadline fast approaching, the Philadelphia Phillies continue to be connected to several of the biggest names on the market. While much of the recent speculation has centered around the Toronto Blue Jays, the Los Angeles Angels remain another club to watch.

According to industry reports, the Phillies continue to have interest in outfielder Jo Adell, whose right-handed power would address a glaring need in the lineup, and shortstop Zach Neto, an athletic infielder who could provide both offensive production and defensive versatility.

Beyond the Angels, league insiders continue to believe the club’s top priority remains acquiring at least one high-leverage reliever to strengthen the back end of the bullpen. If the right opportunity presents itself, the Phillies could also explore adding another starting pitcher, making Dave Dombrowski and the front office one of the busiest groups to watch as the trade deadline draws near.
