Chester, PA: As we know, in any group stage, there are chances to make improvements & that is what the Philadelphia Union are looking to do as they took on Necaxa in their 2nd game in Leagues Cup from Subaru Park. The Union came into the game off a loss to Cruz Azul, while Necaxa heads to battle with the Union off a loss to Chicago. In other words, this game has a lot on the line. This game holds special meaning for the Philadelphia Union, as it would mark the return of former Union player Julián Carranza, who plays for Necaxa.

How the game went:
The Union would not waste any time in getting the scoring started in the 3rd minute by Nathan Harriel & good to see him back scoring goals and this is what the team needed after how the last game against Cruz Azul went.
A few minutes later, the Union would make it 2-0 in the 12th minute & who would score that? It would be Bruno Damiani & good to see him back scoring goals, knowing that he can finish those quality scoring chances
Very cool to see Nathan Harriel having a Goal & an assist in the first 13 minutes of the match & is already making an impact. Union would take a 2-0 lead into halftime & can they keep the pressure on? During the 2nd half, the Union would pick up where they left off & would add to the lead in the 53rd minute by Cavan Sullivan
The Final Whistle blew & the Union would return to the win column with a 3-1 win & were able to fix a couple of things that they did not show against Cruz Azul.
