When Howie Roseman sees a player he likes in the draft, he goes and gets them.

On Thursday, that came in the form of WR Makai Lemon.

The Eagles sent the Cowboys two picks to move up three spots.

To complete the swap from 20 to 23, the Eagles sent two fourth-rounders to Dallas and also get back a seventh-rounder.

The seventh-round pick will add to the 2027 haul the Eagles will begin building.

After putting up 756 yards two years ago, he put up 1156 for USC last year.

He had a few carries and a pass in college, too. All that with 11 touchdowns earned him the Biletnikoff.

Regarded as a top 15 prospect in the draft universally, the team is banking on that value having slid down the board again.

The OL talent the Eagles were likely to target was gone by pick 14 and so the team likely moved up to grab a top talent from a draft many consider to be lacking the usual amount of star talent.

The move will continue to fuel AJ Brown trade rumors.

Lemon now joins Smith and Wicks as players seemingly guaranteed a roster spot. That’s not to mention the battle for spots from Hollywood Brown, Darius Cooper, Johnny Wilson, and Elijah Moore.

At the combine, Lemon went viral for giving an odd interview and speaking in a strange manner to reporters.
