The Philadelphia Flyers could make a notable lineup adjustment ahead of Game 5 against the Pittsburgh Penguins, as Matvei Michkov may be a healthy scratch.

Michkov skated with extra forwards during practice, signaling a potential change after being held without a point through the first four games of the series. Despite the Flyers holding a 3-1 series lead, the coaching staff is looking for more energy following their Game 4 loss.

If Michkov sits, Alex Bump appears ready to step in. The 22-year-old practiced alongside Noah Cates and Tyson Foerster on Sunday.

Head coach Rick Tocchet emphasized the importance of consistency, especially for younger players adjusting to the intensity of playoff hockey. Prospects like Denver Barkey and Porter Martone are also navigating their first NHL postseason experience.

With a chance to close out the series in Game 5, the Flyers may opt for a lineup tweak in hopes of regaining momentum and advancing to the next round.
