The Philadelphia 76ers kept their season alive Thursday night with a convincing 106-93 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 6, forcing a winner-take-all Game 7 in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs.
Tyrese Maxey led the way with 30 points in one of his strongest postseason performances yet, helping Philadelphia dictate the pace from the opening tip. Paul George added 23 points, while Joel Embiid finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists despite continuing to battle through injuries.
After suffering several blowout losses earlier in the series, the Sixers delivered one of their most balanced efforts of the postseason. Philadelphia tightened up defensively in the second half and consistently answered every Boston run to maintain control throughout the night.
The series now heads back to Boston for a decisive Game 7 with the Sixers suddenly carrying momentum into the matchup.
