Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A. J. Brown continues to generate trade speculation this offseason, but one thing is becoming increasingly clear: general manager Howie Roseman is unlikely to let the market for one of the NFL’s elite receivers be dictated by a single team.
According to a report from NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, the Jacksonville Jaguars have emerged as another AFC team connected to Brown, joining the New England Patriots in recent rumors surrounding the Eagles star.
Much of the offseason rumor and innuendo has centered around New England as a logical destination if Philadelphia were to ever seriously entertain moving Brown. However, Jacksonville’s reported interest reinforces the idea that Roseman would likely create a bidding environment rather than negotiate against himself with only one suitor involved.
The speculation has only intensified after Philadelphia traded up during the 2026 NFL Draft to select USC wide receiver Makai Lemon while continuing to add offensive depth this offseason. Still, despite the outside noise, there is no indication a trade is imminent.
But after all, June 1 is right around the corner.
