The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly no longer in the running for Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown, narrowing the list of potential landing spots ahead of what increasingly feels like an inevitable offseason blockbuster.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Rams had previously been viewed as one of the strongest candidates to acquire Brown, trailing only the New England Patriots in trade discussions. However, Rapoport reported Friday evening that Los Angeles is now “no longer in the mix.”

While anything can happen until a deal is officially completed, momentum continues building toward Brown being moved by the Eagles after the June 1 designation date. A post-June 1 trade would provide Philadelphia with additional salary cap flexibility while allowing the organization to maximize potential draft compensation from interested teams.
At this point, New England appears positioned as the most logical landing spot if the Eagles ultimately decide to move the star receiver although other teams are reportedly involved in trade talks.
