The fight card for UFC 330 in Philadelphia is beginning to take shape, and fans are getting exactly what they hoped for: two championship bouts.

UFC officially announced that reigning welterweight champion Islam Makhachev will defend his title against top contender Ian Machado Garry in the main event at UFC 330 on Aug. 15 at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena. In the co-main event, strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern will put her title on the line against surging contender Gillian Robertson. 

The event marks the UFC’s return to Philadelphia for its first numbered card in 15 years and the first championship fight in the city since 2011. UFC 330 is scheduled for Aug. 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena and is expected to be one of the biggest combat sports events held in Philadelphia during the America 250 celebration year.

With two title fights already confirmed, anticipation for UFC 330 continues to build as additional bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
