LeBron James has chosen the Philadelphia 76ers, reportedly agreeing to a two-year, $8 million contract, according to his agent, Rich Paul.

The stunning move brings one of basketball’s greatest players to Philadelphia for what could be the final chapter of his legendary NBA career. James joins a loaded Sixers core featuring Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, VJ Edgecombe and Joel Embiid.

Even at 41, James remains a productive scorer, facilitator and leader capable of changing a postseason series. His experience, versatility and championship pedigree immediately raise Philadelphia’s ceiling.
