Another injury took place at Eagles practice on Saturday.

While Jonathan Greenard has suffered an injury earlier in the week, a more severe one took place for an undrafted free agent.

Jaeden Roberts suffered an apparent leg injury and had to be carted off the field.

There has not been any further reporting, as of yet, indicating exactly what the injury is but something that requires the cart is far more likely to be a long-term injury.

For Roberts, one of the team’s undrafted free agent signings just a few months ago, the injury could very well mean a loss of his chance to fight for a roster spot or a place on the practice squad.

Unfortunately, for someone who didn’t get drafted and doesn’t have any NFL tape to lean on, it could potentially also mean the end of his pro career before it ever really got a chance to get started.

Roberts had been at Alabama four five years, appearing in 37 games and making 25 starts over that time.

He played right guard for the most part, but had also seen some game action in a tackle role.
