Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is opening up about his relationship with quarterback Jalen Hurts following his trade to the New England Patriots.

Brown spoke candidly during an exclusive interview with Maria Taylor, addressing the speculation that surrounded the pair during their time together in Philadelphia. While rumors of tension between the two became a constant talking point nationally, Brown made it clear there is no bad blood between himself and Hurts.

“Not as close as we once were and I believe that’s fine. There’s no bad blood. There’s actually still a lot of love. I love him to death … I want him to succeed and accomplish all the things he wants to.”

Brown also admitted he never fully understood why the status of their friendship became such a major storyline tied to the Eagles’ success. He added that despite outside narratives, the two continued to compete, challenge one another and work together while teammates in Philadelphia.
